Hey Guys,
I am feeling pretty somber this morning. I am still thinking about the events that transpired early Sunday morning. I know these are scary times. We shouldn't live in fear. I love the quote by Fred Rodgers. "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me
"Look for the helpers. You will always find people that are helping." To this day, especially in times of "disaster" I remember my mother's words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers-so many caring people in this world"
This white dress/black kimono combo is perfect for summer. I love white and black together there is something always attractive about two opposing colors together. This dress is the one I wore here. It is so comfortable and so breezy. I have worn this with converse and a vest to the aquarium, I have worn it dressed up, this is an all around dress that will get you a lot of miles for your bucks. There is a longer white dress here, a similar one here, and this one I want.
I love adding another element to a plain fashion pallet. Of course this would look cute with just a plain black kimono, but I think the different texture as well gives the whole outfit another flavor. Black/white, hard solid white with a delicate black lace. It is just a beautiful combination. I love this black kimono, and this one.
I added a neutral wedge,but again something that brought another element to the outfit. I love that my ankles are tiny and I really like to bring attention to that part of my leg. I have like massive muscle thighs that I like to detract from. These wedges are not the worlds more comfortable shoes, not gonna lie. They are very cute, and very feminine. I wouldn't go on a long walks in them. Your feet will wither up and die. I love these ones, and these ones as well that would go well with this outfit.
