Movie Night with the Family

Hey Babes,

My family is big on movies. One of my favorite family traditions is that every Sunday we eat dinner together and watch a movie. We have done this since I was little and I have always loved it. There is nothing better than a bowl of freshly popped popcorn, a cold Cherry Coke, a movie and the family.

So tonight we are going to watch "Cars". A current favorite of Arias. She is car obsessed just like her Dad.

When we do movie nights with just the three of us we like to try and do a theme. One night it was "Jurassic World" so we made dinosaur nuggets, and ice cream.

Tonight we take a trip down Route 66, and dine at the Cozy Cone. Dinner will be a delicious Cone Queso. It is really a lot easier than it looks. Let's getting started with dinner.

You can make your own cone or pre-made dough.

Next your going to make a template for your cone. So take your waffle cones and wrap them in tin foil. Make sure to spray this foil with non stick cooking spray.

Take your dough and make it into a giant snake.

Start wrapping the cone. Starting at the bottom.

Pour the chopped veggies into the pot. Add chili powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Let simmer for about 30 mins. Stirring occasionally.

Now that you have both made make sure the cones are cooled. Pour the chili carefully into the cone. Top with chips and cheese.

 Onto dessert!

Popcorn! Who doesn't love popcorn. This popcorn is actually no ordinary popcorn. You are popping the corn right of the ear. It is really so cool and tastes delicious.

You are going to put the ear in the paper bag vertically. Try to keep it as close to the middle of the bag.

The popcorn pops right off the ear. It is really such a cool little gift to give this Holiday Season.

The popcorn is delicious. You can buy these cute little Popcorn on the cob packs from Petersen's Family Farm. They always have cute events going on every season. Around Christmas they have wagon rides around the farm with a cute interactive story about Christmas. They have Santa visits, Christmas Trees, and you can purchase cute gift baskets for your friends, family and neighbors.  I love this cute little farm. They always have fun events each season. Summertime they have a Food Truck round up, where all the food trucks park on their farm. We have found so many amazing food trucks through them. October they have the best pumpkin patch, complete with slides, wagon rides, and a mini corn maze. They sell produce that is delicious and fresh. We visit that farm often. Aria loves the little goats. Make sure to check them out on facebook, instagram and their website. Use code "Christmas 2016" for $5 off your next purchase.
