I hope I am not the only person with this issue. But then
again I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I cannot for the life of me find a dress
that fits perfectly. If it fits my waist it won’t fit my chest. If it fits my
chest it’s huge everywhere else. Now I know I am a bit busty, pregnancy and
breast feeding only enhanced that issue, but do any of you have this problem?
This dress is really adorable and I love it, but I will have to alter it when I
find the time. First world problems right?
Yesterday I showed you how to style this dress as a skirt.
Today I wanted to show you how to style this as a dress. I added a pair of
Power Shapers in black. I love how black tights adds dimension to a look. I
then wanted to pair this dress with some red pumps, perfect for a holiday
party. By adding different colored tights and pumps, removing the blouse I had
over the dress, it has completely transformed this look into something new.
When planning multiple ways to style one item, I like to
style the item and take pictures of the outfit with my smartphone. That way if
I forget I have a reminder right at my fingertips. I like to have an idea of
how I am going to do my hair and makeup. I pull my favorite ideas off of
pinterest and screenshot them. When getting ready, I have my outfit picked out
and my hair and makeup style in mind. This really makes getting ready quick and
easy. I am not in my closet for hours trying on outfits, freaking out that we
are going to be late. I won’t be sitting in front of my mirror at a loss of
what to do with my hair and makeup. Everything is set, planned, and ready to
go. Holidays are crazy anyway, why not simplify with just a little planning
ahead?
Do you use your smartphone to outfit plan? Where are your
favorite places to draw inspiration from?
