Before Aria came to us I have always loved children. But after having her I have a softer spot for kids. Having that mothering love, wanting every child to be healthy and happy. It absolutely breaks my heart to hear about these kids going through illnesses that will take an adult down. And they do it with such an amazing attitude.
Since the early 1980's Children's Miracle Network have raised over 5 billion dollars for 170 children's hospitals across the U.S. Helping kids who are suffering from all types of illnesses. For example meet Grady. Grady was diagnosed at the age of 8 with Acute Undifferentiated Leukemia. Although he was to face a few years of treatment he never let it defeat him. He never wanted to think about his illness, he just wants to live his life and have fun. He was invited to a BBQ with Adam Sandler and dreams of being in the NFL where he can make a ton of money and buy a big house. What an amazing kid. I can't even imagine what his mom had to go through in watching her boy suffer. Thanks to CMN they underwrite medical procedures for kids in need and help fund things such as music therapy, and counseling for these sweet children.
